Long Melford Neighbourhood Plan (LMNP) Review, Call for Sites 2026
The Parish Council has decided to review the existing Neighbourhood Plan and now must agree on how best to tackle the requirement by Babergh to build 750 new homes over the next 20 years.
But it’s not just new homes that are required. We also need to look for land for more parking, commercial and for nature conservation.
Landowners are therefore invited to submit sites that they wish to be considered for development to meet any of the above uses in the LMNP Review. Submissions should be received by 5pm on Friday 15th May 2026 and should be submitted to the Clerk of the Parish Council clerk@longmelford-pc.gov.uk.
